Payment Security Policy
This policy explains how card payments on mongeza.com are handled and what the Operator does and does not see.
1. How card data is handled
1.1.
Card payments on the site are processed by a licensed payment provider. CPA MEDIA DOO is not a payment institution and does not process card data itself.
1.2.
The card number, the expiry date, the security code and any confirmation code are entered on the payment provider’s side and are transmitted directly to it.
1.3.
The Operator does not store, does not log and cannot retrieve the full card number, the expiry date or the security code at any point, including after a payment has succeeded.
1.4.
What the Operator receives back is limited to the masked number, the outcome of the transaction, its amount and date, and a payment token that cannot be turned back into card details.
1.5.
That token is what allows the subscription to renew under the Recurring Payments Agreement without card details ever passing through the Operator.
1.6.
Compliance with the PCI DSS standard for storing and transmitting card data rests with the payment provider, which is certified for that purpose.
2. The connection, and what to do if something looks wrong
2.1.
Traffic between the browser and the site travels over an encrypted TLS connection, and the payment page is served under the same protection.
2.2.
The Operator never asks for a security code, a one-time code or an account password by email, by telephone or in a chat. A request of that kind does not come from the Operator.
2.3.
A User who sees a charge they do not recognise writes to info@mongeza.com. The charge is checked and dealt with under the Refund and Chargeback Rules.
2.4.
A User who suspects that their card has been compromised should also contact the issuing bank, which alone can block the card.
