Recurring Payments Agreement
This agreement explains how the recurring charge for the Mongeza subscription works: what is taken, when, from which card, and how to stop it.
1. Subject of the agreement
1.1.
This agreement is concluded between CPA MEDIA DOO (the Operator) and the User, and forms part of the User Agreement.
1.2.
A recurring charge is a card payment initiated by the Operator through the payment provider on the strength of the consent the User gave when linking the card, without a separate confirmation for each charge.
1.3.
The User gives that consent by ticking the box at the payment step and confirming the first payment.
1.4.
The recurring charge serves one purpose only: paying for the subscription to the Service described in the User Agreement.
1.5.
The recurring payment facility itself is free. The Operator charges nothing for switching it on or off.
2. What is charged and when
2.1.
The subscription fee is 35 AED (thirty-five) for 30 days, as published in the Tariffs.
2.2.
The first charge is made when the User confirms the payment on the Site.
2.3.
Each subsequent charge is made when the current period ends, so that the subscription continues without a break. The period is always the same: 30 days.
2.4.
There is no second, different interval anywhere in this agreement. The Operator makes no additional charge at any other point in a period.
2.5.
The fee for a period may be taken as a single payment of 35 AED or split into parts 23 AED and 12 AED, because issuers decline small charges less often than large ones.
2.6.
Whatever the number and the order of the parts, their total for one period does not exceed 35 AED. Splitting changes how the money is taken, not how much of it is taken.
2.7.
All charges are made in the currency displayed at the payment step.
3. Card verification charge
3.1.
When a card is linked, the Operator makes a single verification charge of 1 AED to confirm that the card exists and accepts payments.
3.2.
The verification charge is separate from the subscription fee. It is not an advance on the fee and is not deducted from it.
3.3.
The verification charge is returned to the same card within 14 days of the linking, automatically and without any request from the User.
3.4.
The verification charge is made once for each linked card and is not repeated when the subscription renews.
4. Failed charges and changes of card
4.1.
If a charge fails because of insufficient funds, a limit set by the issuer or a technical decline, the Operator may repeat the attempt within the same period.
4.2.
Repeat attempts do not increase the amount due for that period, which remains capped at 35 AED.
4.3.
If the fee for a period cannot be taken at all, the Operator may suspend access to the Service until it is paid or until the User cancels.
4.4.
The Operator does not store the card number and cannot see the balance of the User’s account. Declines are decided by the issuer, as described in the Payment Security Policy.
4.5.
If the card is replaced or blocked, the User links a new card in the user account. Until a valid card is linked the subscription cannot renew.
5. Stopping the charges, liability, disputes
5.1.
The User may withdraw consent to recurring charges at any time by cancelling the subscription through cancel your subscription or by writing to info@mongeza.com from the registered address.
5.2.
Withdrawal stops every further charge from the moment it is processed. Nothing is charged for stopping the subscription.
5.3.
The Operator confirms the cancellation by email. That confirmation is the User’s evidence that recurring charges have ended.
5.4.
No visit in person and no paper application are required to stop the charges, and the Operator may not require them.
5.5.
A charge already made can be returned only on the grounds and in the manner set out in the Refund and Chargeback Rules.
5.6.
The Operator’s liability under this agreement is limited to the amounts actually received from the User under it.
5.7.
This agreement is governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. A dispute not settled in correspondence with info@mongeza.com is referred to the competent court in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia.
