Mongeza

How it works

The whole path from the form to an answer, without marketing shorthand.

What you fill in

Nine fields: amount, term, first and last name, date of birth, city, ID number, mobile number and email. Nothing is asked twice and nothing needs uploading.

Why a card is needed

The card confirms that a real person is behind the request and carries the subscription payment. A charge of 1 AED is taken first to verify the card is live; the subscription of 35 AED for 30 days follows. The charge may arrive as 23 AED and 12 AED rather than one amount — the total does not change.

Where the request goes

To licensed lenders whose published criteria your profile matches. Not to a general database, not to advertisers, not to anyone who did not receive the request for the purpose of assessing it.

What comes back

A shortlist in your account, plus notification by email and message. Each entry carries the lender’s name, the amount range and the rate they quote. Applying is a separate decision you make yourself.

How to stop it

The subscription renews every 30 days until you cancel. Cancelling takes one field on the cancellation page and stops the next charge immediately.

Mongeza does not issue loans. The service matches credit products: it shows you a list of lenders you may approach and forwards your request to them. Mongeza is not a party to any loan agreement, does not set its terms and bears no responsibility for the consequences of entering into one. Paying for the service does not guarantee that a loan will be granted.
